
Dress Code
- The following school district dress code must be followed:
- Shoes must have soles, no “flip flops,” wheels, or high-heels
- Shirts must not contain slogans or advertising that are controversial or obscene, or that are spiked or studded
- All shorts, dresses, and skirts must be at fingertip length
- Shorts and pants must fit at the hips and must not sag, and must be
- hemmed, not frayed
- Tops, shirts, and blouses must not be cropped, must cover the
- mid-section of the body must have straps at least three inches wide and
- should cover the shoulders; no “spaghetti” straps
- Headgear is allowed only when there are designated special events
- Hair should be of natural color (not green, purple, blue, or any unnatural colors) and not distract from the educational setting.
- The principal retains the authority to grant exceptions for special occasions and/or special conditions.
Students not in compliance will be asked to call home and get proper attire. Visitors/Volunteers not in compliance may be asked to leave as well.
